This Privacy Policy explains how Honnhonjeng, we  collects, uses, and safeguards your personal data. In legal terms, we act as the Data Fiduciary, and you are the Data Principal. We are fully committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. 

📥 What Data We Collect

We only collect the minimum information required to provide you with our services: 

* Identity Information: Your name, age, and gender.

* Contact Information: Your delivery address, email ID, and mobile number.

* Financial Information: Payment details, bank account numbers, or UPI details for refunds.

* Technical Data: Your IP address, device type, and app usage logs. [11, 12, 13]

⚙️Why We Process Your Data

We collect your data strictly for specific, lawful purposes. We will not bundle or reuse your data for unapproved reasons: 

* To process and deliver your orders.

* To handle returns, exchanges, and financial refunds.

* To send you order updates, tracking information, and customer support alerts.

* To comply with accounting, legal audit, or tax requirements.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone. We only share it with trusted third-party Data Processors who help us run our business: 

* Delivery Partners: Courier companies receive your name, address, and phone number to ship your packages.

* Payment Gateways: Standard banking partners process your UPI, credit card, or net banking securely.

* Government Authorities: We may share data if legally obligated by a court order or law enforcement.

We follow a strict Data Minimisation and Storage Limitation rule. We store your information only for as long as it takes to fulfil the purpose of collection (e.g., executing the order and window of return), or to comply with necessary Indian accounting and tax laws. Once it is no longer required, the data is securely deleted or anonymised.

Under Section 6 and Section 11 of the DPDPA 2023, you hold absolute control over your digital personal data: 

* Right of Access: You can request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who we have shared it with.

* Right of Correction & Update: You have the right to update or correct inaccurate or incomplete data at any time.

* Right of Erasure: You can ask us to permanently delete your data when you close your account.

* Right to Withdraw Consent: You can easily pull back your permission to process data. Pulling back consent will stop further data processing but does not affect the lawfulness of past actions.

* Right to Nominate: You can choose a person to act on your behalf regarding your data rights in the event of an emergency or death.
